4 TRICKS TO HELP EASE ANXIETY

I’ve been wanting to write about this topic for awhile considering I’ve struggled with anxiety pretty much my whole life. There are a few things I do that help me calm down or unwind when I am having a lot of anxiety- that don’t involve taking medication (nothing wrong with it I just haven’t found one that works for me!). After years of testing to see what works for me, listed below are some things I do that genuinely make a dent (for the better) for my mental health.

♡ Garden of life CBD gummies TBH I was scared of CBD for so long thinking that I would feel ~out of control~ if I took it, but my cousin actually introduced these to me and I cannot be more grateful. I always pop 2 of these babies before a flight and I am cool as a cucumber. They taste really good and genuinely help you feel more relaxed. I'm still able to work and function like a normal human being which I like, too. These are great if you don’t want to take CBD in a liquid form either.

♡ Walking outside ♡ I just did a post on my favorite “Hot Girl Walk” essentials, so if you want some fun little walking accessories then you can read that post here. I try to walk once for 20-30 minutes in the morning if I don’t go to the gym, and then once before or after dinner. It truly is the most magical thing when the sun is shining and you just walk. With or without music, it’s so beneficial and is so good for you both mentally and physically.

♡ An everything shower  There is just something euphoric about an everything shower. You may have heard of an everything shower on TikTok, but it’s basically where you wash your hair, maybe even a little hair mask, exfoliate, moisturize, and then apply your favorite masks. I love this eye mask and re-usable wrinkle patch for after the shower while I do my creams and oils.. all the good stuff. This makes me feel so put together and relaxed. I always play Doris Day or Ella Fitzgerald in the shower too… immaculate vibes. Check out my in-depth everything shower routine here.

Journaling ♡ I know most people talk about this but it’s so good for your brain to do dump of your thoughts especially when you have a lot going on up there (like me!!). Journaling is a free way to write your thoughts down that may seem scary and big in your head and then when on paper it helps rationalize those thoughts. My favorite journal comes in so many colors and we can twin here.

So there you have it! Those are some of my favorite little things to help me manage my anxiety. Let me know if you have any other tips :)

xoxo
