NEWPORT BEACH FAVORITES

I have been one lucky girl to be able to call Newport Beach home for the last few months, and have discovered so many local gems that I just adore. I know some of you are based locally, and maybe some of you will eventually visit, so I was compelled to make a list of my favorite food, workout, beach, and shopping spots. 

☕✩°｡ ⋆⸜  For Iced Chai’s & Breakfast  🎧✮🤎

I don’t even know where to begin with this one. Alta Coffee in Newport may just have the best Iced Chai on the planet, and their constant line out the door will attest to that. I get an Iced Chai with Oat Milk and it’s a cinnamon & cream heaven. They also have a delightful breakfast menu filled with pastries, pancakes, and a yummy pesto avocado toast. It’s a MUST.  

༘⋆🌷🫧 For a workout 💭₊˚ෆ

I have been a fan of Escape Pilates since the moment I came to Newport and the instructors are so sweet. They have different classes but I usually take the Level 2 Reformer and there hasn’t been a time where I walk out and I’m not shaking. 

Another studio I really like is Coeur Pilates! It’s a smaller, more intimate studio, but the workouts are amazing. I take the regular Reformer Pilates here and love working those smaller muscles I didn’t know I had.

⋆｡𖦹 °.🐚 For a beach day/ocean dip ⋆❀˖°

This summer I really got into taking an ocean dip after work, on Sundays, or whenever I could squeeze one in. My friends & I didn’t want to gate-keep this secret any longer. You may have heard of the Wedge, which is a more private neighborhood beach, and the water is a beautiful crystal blue (we shot the Nixie set campaign here!). We enter on L street which is why it’s so special to us. The pathways are full of blossomed flowers, and the water looks fake it’s so beautiful. We stop at Pavilions and grab snacks and then head on over to the Wedge for the day.  

🛒🛍️✨ For shopping 🏷️✩°｡⋆⸜ 🎧✮

My favorite walking route always leads me to making a pit stop at Lido Marina Village, which houses stores like Stoney Clover Lane, LoveShackFancy, eberjay, and LSPACE. It’s a girls paradise honestly. I love walking around here and window shopping (treating myself occasionally ;)). I also love going to Fashion Island which is a larger outdoor mall, and probably has more stores than you think. If you want to get your steps in, I highly suggest shopping here!
