5 THINGS I'M OBSESSED WITH RN

I’m back with another “5 Things I’m Obsessed with” series! This list is kind of all over the place, but these 5 things are truly consuming my life right now (in the best way), so I had to share. Let’s get into the list! 

♡ Custom Stationary ♡

I heard Lauryn Bosstick talk about how important your own branding is, especially when you have a business and are the face of it. She mentioned how she has custom pens and stationary, so I immediately got inspired to create my own. I searched some websites on where to get the best stationary was so you don’t have to. I landed on Paper Source and fell in love with the options they had. I'm new to the stationary world and they made it super easy for me to make my own! Since Emma Lou is all about baby pinks, I chose the prettiest shade of pink for my envelope, and a romantic font to case my first & last name on the white card-stock notecard. I have been sending these out left & right for thank you's and saying hello's.

♡ Our November Moodboard ♡

The Holidays are here & I couldn't be more excited to get some Emma Lou Holiday merchandise out. We have a new set dropping next week so the prep is in full swing! I made this moodboard back in October and can't believe it's already here. I'm focusing on a very girly, soft Holiday season. I love the light pinks, ice skates, and ribbons, so you will see a lot of that in this years campaign! 

♡ Summer Fridays Pink Sugar Lip Balm ♡

Trying out lip balms is one of my favorite past times. Recently, I stumbled across the Summer Fridays Lip Balm and loved the colors they had, so I picked out the Pink Sugar flavor and was so excited to try. I think this ties back into my November Moodboard of just loving anything girly & pink, so this was right up my alley. It smells like vanilla & is super sweet on the lips - perfect for the cold season approaching! 

♡ Ribbon Christmas Decor ♡

Ribbons are all the rage this season - for a good reason, too. I have fallen in love with the vintage looking Christmas decor with the use of ribbons. I'm planning to use them everywhere in an upcoming Holiday party I'm hosting for Emma Lou, and am so excited to tie them around everything. I think they add such a a beautiful pop of color and hint of femininity.

♡ Hot Pilates ♡ 

I travel back and forth to San Diego a lot, so of course I need to have my staple workout classes when I'm there. I heard a lot of good things about Salt Hot Pilates, which is a hot pilates studio so I gave it a try. A handful of classes later & I can't get enough. It's such a great workout & detox all in one. They use infrared lights during your workout so you walk out glowing. The classes are about 50 minutes and consist of mostly mat pilates full body work. I love going right in the morning so I'm ready and refreshed for the day!
