3 THINGS BOOSTING MY MOOD
The sun is finally out in Southern California and I cannot be more excited. I was beginning to think that we got robbed of our summer, but the sun is out and ready to go. There are a couple of things that I have been doing this month that have made it a little sweeter and I wanted to share so here we gooooo!
♡ As much as I love going out to get an iced chai, it’s like $8 per drink and it’s addicting, so I went back to my roots of making an iced chai at home. I use Malk Vanilla Almond Milk & Oregon Chai Concentrate + a dash of of cinnamon makes it soooo yummy. It’s not the same as the experience of getting a chai everyday, but it gets the job done and satisfies my cravings.
♡ Doodling! I went kind of nuts at Micheal’s a couple of weeks ago and treated myself to new watercolor markers & a sketch book. Instead of scrolling on my phone at night, I love to put on a classic rom-com and just color and draw whatever I want. Recently, it’s been lots of shells, animals, and bubble letters. It reminds me of when I was little and used to sketch for fun all the time.
♡ Manifesting on my morning walks. I redownloaded Audible a few weeks ago and have been LOVING it. I don’t remember why I stopped listing to audio books, but it has changed my mood for the better. The books I am listening to are all ones I’ve read before, but I think going through a book more than once is always beneficial. Right now it’s The Secret, The Four Agreements, and You Are a Badass. I know these ones are super well-known, but the message seems to stick better once I’ve listened a few times. I highly recommended listening while you are walking or working!
