LOVELY THINGS ABOUT AUTUMN

I am such an Autumn girl. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love summer and how fun & carefree it is, but I’ve always been one to just L O V E Autumn & Halloween. I feel like it’s also a fresh start from how busy the Summer can be. Autumn is comforting and lovely, but there are a few things I am most excited about this upcoming season. 

❣ Sweater Vests  ❣ 

I just ordered a few sweater vests from Brandy Melville and am so excited to wear these with a micro denim skirt & boots, or with jeans, a classic white tee, & my Adidas Sambas. I am stepping up my Fall wardrobe this year because I *usually* end up wearing sweats all season (which is great) but, I’m ready to look cozy n’ cute this season.

❣ Pumpkin Patches  ❣ 

I don’t know about you, but I am a sucker for a pumpkin patch. I love them so much. I think it’s the memories it brings back, but there isn’t many things I love more than going to a pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins with friends, and watching a Halloween movie while doing it.

❣ Magical/Cozy Autumn Books  ❣ 

I have been seeing the best books to read during this time of year all over my TikTok and there are a few in particular I’m excited to read! In the Company of Witches by Auralee Wallace is my first one, Small Town Big Magic by Hazel Beck, and the Ex Hex by Erin Sterling. My idea of a good time is reading one of these, curled up with a blanket, and my candle lit...YAY.

❣ Baking  ❣ 

I love to bake, but for some reason when the holidays roll around I am always baking something. It’s my stress reliever and I love how good it makes the house smell HAHA. I get most of my baking ideas from Pinterest, like this Pumpkin Loaf I made the other night- it was incredible. My staple is also these Pumpkin cookies I make which is a family recipe and all my friends are already asking me to bake them!!

❣ Decorating  ❣ 

This may be my most favorite thing. Ever. I love to add little hints of Autumn in my house. I ordered these cute ghost pillows from Pottery Barn and can’t wait to put them on the couch. And then from Anthropologie, I ordered these juice glasses to match the ghost pillow! I mean C’MONNNN. How cute. And Home Goods has tons of yummy smelling candles, throws, and decor. Making my space cozy is always the best feeling :)
